You should note that this list is incomplete. There are other drugs that can interact with pentobarbital including herbal products, over the counter vitamins, and other medications.

What will happen if you miss a pentobarbital dose?

Doctors only prescribe pentobarbital only when it’s needed. Because of this you are not likely to be on a dosing schedule. However, in case you are on a schedule, you need to take the missed dose immediately you remember. Skip the dose if it’s almost time for your scheduled dose. Never take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

Can you overdose on pentobarbital?

Note that pentobarbital can have severe side effects that can impair your thinking or reactions. Ensure that you are not performing any task that might require you to stay awake or alert such as driving. Do not take alcohol.

Keep pentobarbital away from kids or from people with a history of substance abuse. The drug should never be shared with others.
